Transparent structures have long been a dream of humankind. Friedrich Nietzsche once predicted that the architecture of the future would be transparent and would seem to float. But a transparent roof goes even further, reaching the edge of magic. The world’s first system that appears as an ordinary roof from the outside yet is transparent from the inside opens up numerous possibilities. For the NEBESYS project, we designed a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
