The tradition of the Kalabria lemonade factory in Kladno dates back to 1911. In 2006, a new owner took over and began producing popular lemonades, named after Josef Karásek, who bought the company in 1927 and made it famous.

We were approached to design a new line of labels for syrups. At the same time, we redesigned the Kalabria logo and consolidated the company's visual style. In the design of the labels, we followed the successful lemonade labels. We kept the same paper and designed a similar shape of the cutout, adapted to tall bottles. We emphasized the largest possible depiction of Mr. Karásek (illustration by M. Bačák), which we perceive as the strongest brand motif. We distinguished the individual flavors with a color scale, complemented by fine lines and fonts with rough drawings, evoking handwriting.
